Harpal Bamrah

Harpal started learning Bharatanatyam formally in 1996, at the age of 7, under the training of Smt. Pushkala Gopal and Sri Unnikrishnan. He completed his Arangetram in 2005, along with his sister Gurkiran and participated in Mudralaya’s ‘Bharta Yatra’ in 1998, ‘An Evening of Dance’ in 2004 at Queens Theatre and ‘The Return of Spring’ Dance Drama in 2006. He has performed at numerous award ceremonies, notably the British Asian Achievement Awards in 2006 and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Parade in 2002. A qualified dentist by profession, Harpal has to his credit, numerous performances in Prague for the Indian High Commission. He teaches at Sanskriti:s Manor Park and Ilford locations.
